Cleo presents several types of flows depending on the countries where operations are active and the local regulations in each of them.
Depending on the type of integration or the payment objectives for your business, it may be beneficial to use one flow type over another. Additionally, multiple flow types can be used simultaneously, offering flexibility based on your specific needs.

Closed Loop
By integrating this payout flow, customers will be able to request a withdrawal only after they have made a deposit using Cleo.

Currently, the availability of this flow by country is as follows:
Technical AspectAs it is a closed loop (meaning that customers can only withdraw money after they made a successful deposit with Cleo), we use the ID and the bank details saved from the deposits.
Therefore, the customers only have to fill in the amount of money that they want to withdraw.
Open Loop
By integrating this payout flow, customers will be able to request a withdrawal anytime, even if they haven’t made a deposit with Cleo first.

The Open Loop flow can be divided into two:

Technical Aspect - Open Loop with user interactionIn their first transaction, the customers have to fill in their ID and the amount of money they want to withdraw.
After the first successful payout, we pre-fill the customers' ID in the flow and they cannot change it. Therefore, the customers only have to fill in the amount of money they want to withdraw and select the account where they wish to receive the money.
